THE AVENGERS Will Be Told From Cap's Point Of View!

YES! Joss Whedon IS paying attention. As many of you know Marvel's comic book team The Avengers was led by Captain America. So how do you manage to translate that to a movie where so many character egos are involved? Moreover, when you have superb actors (ex. Robert Downey Jr.) how can you ensure that Cap gets his glory?

Apparently from the movie being told from Captain America's point of view! Here's what Whedon had to say to EW:
“I set out with a very simple problem: There is no reason for these people to be in the same movie. So that’s what my movie has to be about. So much of the movie takes place from Steve Rogers’ (Chris Evans) perspective, since he’s the guy who just woke up and sees this weird ass world. Everyone else has been living in it.

Perfectly acceptable. I like it. It certainly wasn't hinted at in THE AVENGERS' first trailer was it? Looked like the Iron Man show. But let me be clear here, for purists this is a step in the right direction!
